Year 5 Teacher – Full‑Time (Sept Start) in Manchester

About the role

We are partnering with a supportive primary school in Manchester to find an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher. The role starts in September and offers the chance to inspire pupils as they progress towards Year 6.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons.
• Use assessment data to track progress and plan next steps.
• Differentiate instruction for pupils with varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners.
• Promote independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Contribute to school life and support extracurricular activities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (or recent graduate).
• Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Ability to motivate, challenge and support learners.
• Commitment to raising attainment while safeguarding pupil wellbeing.
