About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a primary school in Acocks Green, Birmingham. The role starts in September 2026 and runs full‑time until the Christmas break, offering a valuable opportunity to gain classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe, inclusive learning environment for Year 5 pupils.
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum and tailored to student needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies for children with SEND.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service).
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training as required.
