About the role

Make an impact in Key Stage 2 as a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 5 class. You will take full responsibility for a two‑form entry mainstream primary school class in the Knowsley area, fostering a safe and engaging environment where high standards of learning are met with creativity and support.

Key responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on core subjects such as Reading, Writing and Maths.
• Full class responsibility: manage all aspects of teaching from lesson planning to assessment and reporting.
• Inclusion & differentiation: implement creative strategies to meet the diverse needs of every learner.
• Assessment & strategy: contribute to school assessment processes and track pupil progress.
• Collaborative working: work within a supportive team and contribute to the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome.
• Proven classroom experience in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5 or 6.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and community impact.
• Professional, reflective practitioner with a desire for growth.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
