Year 5 Teacher (Part‑time) – Grays, Essex

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a primary school in Grays on a part‑time basis. The role starts on 1 September 2026 and runs until July 2027, offering three days per week of classroom teaching.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons across the curriculum.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
- Maintain a well‑managed classroom environment and address challenging behaviour.
- Collaborate with senior staff to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience working with SEN pupils.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references.
