Year 5 Teacher – Primary School (Hatfield)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a Good‑rated primary school in Hatfield starting September 2026. You will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence and prepare pupils for the next stage of their education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Year 5 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and senior staff to support pupil learning.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills.
• Ability to commute to Hatfield.
