About the role
We are partnering with a Good‑rated primary school in Luton to recruit a dedicated Year 5 Teacher starting in September. You will join a supportive team that values staff wellbeing and encourages professional growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic progress and personal development.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations for all pupils.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, senior staff and parents to support each child’s learning journey.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Passion for raising attainment and helping every child succeed.
