Year 5 Teacher – Primary School (Salford)

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Salford from September 2026. The school values community, inclusion and high standards of teaching, offering a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Support pupils’ academic progress, focusing on core subjects and SATs preparation.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Use assessment data to inform planning and close learning gaps.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to enhance pupil outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5 or Upper KS2.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.
