Year 5/6 Teacher (Upper Key Stage 2)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5/6 Teacher to join Bury Primary School from September. The role focuses on Upper Key Stage 2, supporting pupils during a pivotal stage of their primary education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with the leadership team and contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Support pupils to achieve their full academic potential.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Upper KS2.
• Demonstrated organisational and classroom‑management skills.
• High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Commitment to creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
