Year 6 Class Teacher – KS2 (Full‑time, Temp‑to‑Perm)

About the role
We are partnering with a vibrant three‑form entry primary school in Halton to find an enthusiastic Year 6 teacher. You will take full responsibility for a KS2 class, creating a safe, engaging environment where pupils can thrive academically and personally.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on Reading, Writing and Maths.
- Manage the whole teaching cycle – from lesson planning and delivery to assessment, reporting and tracking progress.
- Implement inclusive and differentiated strategies to meet the diverse needs of every learner.
- Contribute to school‑wide assessment and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Early‑Career Teachers are welcome.
- Proven classroom experience in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching and community impact.
- Professional, reflective practitioner with a desire for continuous development.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK.
