Year 6 Primary Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Year 6 Primary Teacher to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Kingston‑upon‑Thames. The role is a full‑time, term‑time position (8:30 am‑4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday) starting in September 2026 and running until July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the Year 6 curriculum across all core subjects.
• Prepare lesson resources, mark work and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings, staff meetings and whole‑school events.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to the school’s safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
