About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with primary schools in Harrow to place a Year 6 teacher starting September 2026. The role can be full‑time or part‑time, delivering the KS2 National Curriculum and preparing pupils for statutory KS2 SATs.

Key responsibilities

Teach Year 6 pupils across English and mathematics, covering reading, writing, grammar, punctuation, spelling and maths.
Use assessment data and progress meetings to plan targeted interventions.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCO staff and senior leadership to support SEND and EAL learners.
Monitor and report pupil progress, ensuring readiness for KS2 SATs.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2 preferred.
Strong knowledge of KS2 SATs content and preparation strategies.
Up‑to‑date safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
