About the role
A fantastic primary school in Haringey is seeking an experienced Year 6 teacher to take on the role of English Lead from September. This is a full‑time position combining classroom teaching with school‑wide English leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Year 6 lessons.
- Lead the English curriculum across the whole school.
- Support curriculum development and raise attainment in English.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive effective teaching and learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 6.
- Proven ability to lead English or another core subject.
- Confident, organised and committed to long‑term impact.
Required skills
- Curriculum development.
- Assessment design.
