Year 6 Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Camden from September 2026. The role is permanent and focuses on preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school while fostering a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, inspiring and challenging KS2 lessons.
• Prepare pupils for SATs and ensure a broad, engaging curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to maintain high standards.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Confidence in preparing pupils for SATs while maintaining a balanced curriculum.
• High expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour and progress.
• Ability to work effectively in a supportive, collaborative team.
