About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream primary school in Clapham (SW4). The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and involves assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering Year 6 lessons.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Support pupils with individual and group tasks.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in Key Stage 1 or 2 within the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and registration with the online update service.
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
