Year Leader Assistant – School Support Role

About the role

We are seeking a Year Leader Assistant to join the Student Services Team at Lawn Manor Academy, part of Ascend Learning Trust. The role provides pastoral and administrative support to a year group, helping pupils achieve their potential in an inclusive, all‑ability environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Year Leader in delivering day‑to‑day pastoral care and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support the coordination of student activities, attendance monitoring and record‑keeping.
• Liaise with teachers, parents and external partners to ensure smooth communication.
• Contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming atmosphere for pupils and staff.
• Participate in school events, assemblies and extracurricular programmes as required.
