Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)

About the role
The Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner provides mental health and wellbeing support to individuals aged 13‑25 across Huntingdon, Peterborough and surrounding hubs. Working 35 hours per week, the role blends guided self‑help caseload management with creative projects such as workshops, group work and resource development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver low‑intensity CBT and guided self‑help interventions in‑person or online.
- Maintain a caseload of young people accessing the “Someone to Talk To” drop‑in service or self‑referral routes.
- Conduct assessments, develop wellbeing resources and communications.
- Facilitate workshops, group sessions and creative projects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and travel between Cambridgeshire and Peterborough hubs as needed.
Required profile
- Qualified Child and Young Persons Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) or Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP).
- PG Certificate or Diploma in the relevant qualification.
- Experience delivering CBT or guided self‑help to young people.
- Ability to work flexibly within a hub‑based, multidisciplinary environment.
