1:1 EYFS Learning Support Assistant (ASD) – Full‑time

About the role

This full‑time position supports an EYFS pupil with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a South East England school. You will work Monday to Friday, 8 am‑4 pm, providing one‑to‑one assistance and helping deliver inclusive early years lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored, one‑to‑one support to EYFS ASD pupils, including behavioural guidance.
• Assist small groups and support classroom tasks, resources and lesson activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare and deliver engaging early years sessions.
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise pupils on school trips and outings.
• Rephrase instructions, repeat information and keep students engaged.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant in an EYFS setting.
• Enhanced child‑only DBS check (and overseas police clearances if required).
• Complete 10‑year work history on CV with any gaps explained.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
