About the role

We are looking for a compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with special educational needs in a welcoming primary school in Camberley. The role starts in September and offers a long‑term, full‑time placement.

Key responsibilities

Provide dedicated one‑to‑one support throughout the school day.
Assist the pupil with academic tasks, social interaction and emotional development.
Adapt learning activities to meet the individual’s needs.
Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO and other professionals.
Build a trusting relationship and encourage independence and confidence.

Required profile

Experience working with children with SEN in a school, care or youth setting.
Patient, caring and adaptable attitude.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
