About the role
This full‑time, temporary position is for a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant in a welcoming primary school located in the Hyde area. You will work directly with pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support to children with SEND throughout the school day.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to senior staff.
- Help create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary setting.
- Reliability, enthusiasm and a commitment to making a positive difference.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team.
Required skills
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
- Team Teach qualification (desirable).
