1:1 SEND Tutor – Wokingham (Flexible Hours)

About the role

Quantum Scholars is expanding its network of SEND Tutors in Wokingham to meet growing demand for Alternative Provision and EOTAS support. You will work one‑to‑one with children and young people, helping them rebuild confidence, develop positive routines, and re‑engage with learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions for primary and secondary pupils.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet needs related to SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, medical conditions, behavioural challenges, or EBSA.
• Provide support in community settings, student homes, or online where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions and progress reports.
• Collaborate with the wider team to match learners with suitable tutors.

Required profile

• Experience supporting children or young people in education, youth work, or related fields.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to travel within Wokingham and surrounding areas.
