1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (SEN Support)

About the role
This temporary full‑time position supports pupils in primary schools across Lymington and the New Forest. You will work one‑to‑one with children who have special educational needs (SEN), helping them feel confident and included in daily learning activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 SEN support to pupils.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
- Help create an inclusive environment that encourages pupil participation.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of employment history.
- Experience in education or working with children is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Possess a Child DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
