12 Month Internship – Structured and Transactional Commodity Finance

About the role

Join the Structured Commodity Finance London EMEA Team for a one‑year internship focused on both Structured Commodity Finance (SCF) and Transactional Commodity Finance (TCF). You will support the origination, development, and monitoring of transactions across the EMEA region, contributing to the department’s revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in originating and structuring new SCF and TCF transactions in close coordination with senior directors.
• Participate in all transaction steps: due diligence, credit application, committee approvals, implementation, and ongoing monitoring.
• Support portfolio diversification and development within the bank’s strategic framework.
• Manage restructuring cases and handle transactions involving sanctioned counterparties when required.
• Help prepare reporting, budgeting, and strategic reviews in liaison with the London AMO.
• Facilitate intra‑departmental communication and cross‑selling opportunities across CA CIB.
• Oversee onboarding and KYC processes for SCF EMEA clients.
• Develop relationships with other banks to expand the portfolio and profitability.
