12 Month Internship – Structured & Transactional Commodity Finance

About the role

This one‑year internship with the Structured Commodity Finance London EMEA team offers hands‑on experience in both Structured Commodity Finance (SCF) and Transactional Commodity Finance (TCF). You will support the origination, structuring and monitoring of transactions across the EMEA region, contributing directly to the department’s revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in originating and structuring new SCF and TCF transactions in close collaboration with senior directors.
• Participate in all transaction stages: due diligence, credit application, committee approvals, implementation and ongoing monitoring.
• Support portfolio diversification and development within the bank’s strategic framework.
• Manage restructuring cases and transactions involving sanctioned counterparties.
• Help prepare reporting, budget reviews and strategic portfolio analyses.
• Facilitate on‑boarding and KYC processes for EMEA clients.
• Enhance intra‑departmental communication and cross‑selling opportunities across CA‑CIB business lines.
