12-Month Structuring Risk Advisory Internship

About the role

Join the Risk Advisory team within the Global Markets Division of Crédit Agricole CIB for a 12‑month internship. You will apply analytical, problem‑solving and quantitative skills to help corporate and financial sponsor clients manage market‑related risks.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed risk analyses and presentations on client exposures to FX, interest rates and commodity prices.
• Develop and propose cost‑effective hedging and financing solutions while ensuring compliance with hedge accounting standards.
• Collaborate with Corporate Sales, Financing and Coverage teams to tailor solutions for global clients.
• Lead or contribute to automation projects using Python or VBA to improve analytical tools.
• Conduct thematic research on market trends, geopolitical events and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Sciences or Computer Science.
• Strong motivation, flexibility and initiative.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ethical mindset and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
