About the role

This 12‑month communications placement starts in August 2027 at Airbus Commercial UK in Broughton, North Wales. You will join a dynamic team delivering internal and external communications, content creation and campaign execution while gaining hands‑on experience across the aerospace sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging internal communications campaigns for the workforce.
• Support local media relations, social media activity and community liaison.
• Write news stories, film and edit videos, and produce campaign materials.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end internal and external campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues across communications disciplines to ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student for the full placement duration, studying communication, marketing, PR, journalism, media, advertising or related fields.
• Strong written and spoken English with confidence in stakeholder interaction.
• Genuine interest in the aerospace industry, manufacturing or R&T.
• Highly self‑motivated, organised and able to manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Basic photography and videography skills.
