12‑Month Credit Trading Business Management Internship

About the role

This 12‑month internship sits within the Global Markets Division of Crédit Agricole CIB in London’s Capital Markets trading room. You will support the Credit Trading Business Manager, gaining exposure to both secondary and primary credit trading activities across global time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring product‑line strategy and related IT projects.
• Act as first line of defence to ensure compliance with external and internal regulations.
• Produce trading and sales management reports and daily/weekly Credit P&L analysis.
• Handle queries from IT, Compliance, Risk, Finance and coordinate with DCM, Syndicate and Sales teams.
• Respond to operational risk, control and audit enquiries, conducting investigations as required.
• Review, update and implement Credit Trading policies and procedures.
• Automate and improve spreadsheet‑based processes and documentation.
• Prepare analyses, business plans and governance presentations for Credit stakeholders.
• Support ongoing and key desk projects.

• Strong analytical ability and keen interest in financial markets.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with multiple business functions.
• Motivation to learn about credit trading, risk management and regulatory compliance.
