12‑Month Financial Crime Internship

About the role

Join the Financial Security Advisory & Governance Team at Crédit Agricole CIB for a 12‑month internship focused on combating financial crime and sanctions breaches. You will work alongside experienced compliance professionals, gaining hands‑on exposure to anti‑money‑laundering processes, data analysis, and regulatory reporting within a leading global investment bank.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on a variety of Financial Security projects and prepare materials for regular committee meetings.
• Collect and analyse statistics for internal and regulatory reports.
• Maintain training records, monitor attendance and follow‑up on action items.
• Participate in team‑led training sessions and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Draft Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) summaries for high‑risk clients.
• Liaise with Business Lines to address Financial Security queries.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (within 18 months) with a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong analytical mindset and keen interest in compliance, financial crime prevention, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality reports.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
