2nd Line IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing MSP team in central Edinburgh. The role is office‑based with the option to move to hybrid working after six months, and offers funded certifications and continuous professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support to a varied client base.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS and networking issues.
• Resolve escalated hardware, software and connectivity problems.
• Take ownership of tickets from creation to resolution.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in a 2nd line IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and macOS support.
• Solid networking and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• MSP experience and relevant certifications are desirable.
