2nd Line Support Engineer – Onsite (Ascot & Hassocks)

About the role

Class Technology Solutions Ltd (CTS) is seeking a motivated 2nd Line Support Engineer to work on‑site at client schools in Ascot (3 days) and Hassocks (2 days). You will deliver specialist IT support to ensure high‑quality learning environments and help our education customers get the most from their technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist IT support under the guidance of the Network Manager.
• Assist with the operation of site networks and servers, including cloud platforms.
• Set up, image and configure networked PCs and related hardware.
• Maintain user accounts, Active Directory and Azure AD structures.
• Update and resolve Helpdesk tickets in line with SLA targets.
• Monitor stock, catalogue assets and perform regular audits.
• Run network monitoring reports and maintain asset registers.
• Support training and up‑skilling of on‑site CTS staff and mentor colleagues.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel between Ascot and Hassocks.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Awareness of child protection, health & safety, GDPR and data security policies.

• Active Directory / Azure AD administration.
• Microsoft 365 administration.
• Google Workspace (school/admin) management.
• PC imaging and configuration.
• Network monitoring utilities.
• Helpdesk ticketing systems.
