3.5t Delivery Driver – Multidrop (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable 3.5‑ton delivery driver to join a white‑goods business operating across the UK. Based in Hedge End, you will be the face of the company, delivering, installing and demonstrating a range of electrical appliances in customers’ homes while providing exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver, install and demonstrate white goods, televisions and cookers at customer properties.
• Engage with customers, keep them informed and ensure installations meet the highest standards.
• Maintain regular contact with the site throughout the day to manage changes and resolve issues.
• Use the handheld operating device (Savvy) to record visits and obtain customer signatures.
• Liaise with manufacturers at delivery points when required.
• Handle all products safely, supporting colleagues to do the same.
• Secure and adjust loads throughout the day using provided equipment.

Required profile

• Full UK/EU Category B driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) or ability to obtain one.
• Valid digital tachograph card (provided if successful).
• Previous experience driving a 3.5‑ton vehicle with a clean record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Required skills

• Operation of a 3.5‑ton vehicle with no driver‑blame accidents.
• Use of a digital tachograph and handheld delivery device (Savvy).
• Manual handling and health‑and‑safety best practices.

What we offer

• £17.20 per hour (overtime 1.5× after 40 hrs).
• Approximately 45 hours per week, shifts Monday‑Sunday.
• Temporary 3‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
