3.5T Van Driver – Temporary to Permanent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced 3.5T van driver for a temporary-to-permanent position delivering and collecting goods across London and surrounding areas. The role starts immediately and offers a competitive hourly rate. You will be responsible for safe, on‑time deliveries while providing friendly customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries and collections throughout London and nearby locations.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries following planned routes and schedules.
• Load and unload the van safely and securely.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, PODs, and vehicle records.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers at each delivery.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organised, and roadworthy.
• Follow all road safety, transport, and company procedures.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Previous experience as a van, delivery, multi‑drop, courier, or 3.5T driver.
• Good knowledge of London and surrounding road networks.
• Excellent time‑management and route‑planning abilities.
• Physically fit for loading and unloading goods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
