360 Machine Operator (waste)

About the role

The 360 Machine Operator will join a family‑run recycling business in Ewshot, supporting daily waste processing and helping the site meet its production targets. This full‑time position offers a chance to work with modern plant equipment while developing a career in the waste and recycling sector.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 360 machinery and associated plant safely and efficiently.
• Feed the processing plant and load HGVs.
• Support waste sorting and recycling operations.
• Carry out pre‑sorting duties to maximise throughput.
• Report machinery defects and maintenance issues promptly.
• Work closely with supervisors and site teams on a daily basis.
• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating 360 machinery or small plant equipment.
• Relevant plant tickets or machinery certifications (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong awareness of site safety and environmental standards.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support team members.
• Right to work in the UK.
