360 Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced 360 Operator to join a well‑established company in Maidstone. This full‑time, temp‑to‑perm position works on a 12‑hour day shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off) and involves operating and maintaining plant equipment safely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant machinery responsibly, keeping safety of all site users in mind.
• Meet production targets by optimising operations and collaborating with fellow operators and site staff.
• Report defects, issues, and accidents promptly to the Site Supervisor and assist with investigations.
• Maintain constant communication with supervisors and other operators.
• Follow all company procedures, with a strong focus on health and safety.

Required profile

• Knowledge of waste and metal handling processes.
• Experience with relevant plant and machinery, holding the appropriate operating tickets.
• Demonstrated safety and environmental awareness on industrial sites.
• Proactive in identifying improvements and willing to support teammates.
• Ability to work nationwide and conduct daily inspections and servicing of equipment.
