7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

About the role

Positive Employment is recruiting a 7.5 t delivery driver for a white‑goods client operating across the UK. The role is based in Snodland and is initially a three‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver, install and demonstrate white goods, televisions and cookers in customers’ homes.
• Engage with customers, keep them informed and ensure installations meet the highest standards.
• Maintain regular contact with the site throughout the day, report changes and escalate any issues.
• Use the Savvy handheld device to record visits and obtain customer signatures.
• Liaise with manufacturers at delivery points when required.
• Handle all products safely, support colleagues in safe handling, and secure loads using straps and sack barrows.

Required profile

• Full UK/EU C1 driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC).
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5 t vehicle.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract (initially 3 months) with potential extension.
• Pay £18.93 per hour.
• Approximately 45 hours per week, shifts Monday‑Sunday.
