About the role
Join Pertemps Royal Mail as a 7.5 tonne driver delivering mail and parcels for Parcelforce Worldwide across Leeds and surrounding areas. This full‑time temporary position offers a stable schedule and the chance to represent a well‑known national delivery brand.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5‑tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely on assigned routes.
- Load and unload mail and parcels, handling items up to 20 kg.
- Deliver to distribution points and local delivery teams.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean.
- Provide professional customer service on each delivery.
Required profile
- Full UK manual driving licence with Category C1 entitlement (7.5 t) and no more than 6 penalty points.
- Proven experience driving a 7.5 t vehicle.
- Good knowledge of Leeds and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit to lift parcels up to 20 kg.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Ability to pass a DBS check and hold a valid tachograph card.
Required skills
What we offer
- Monday‑to‑Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm schedule.
- Hourly rate of £15.06.
- Temporary / ongoing assignment with immediate start.
