7.5T Delivery Driver (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated 7.5‑tonne Delivery Driver to join our Transport team in Wigan. You will be responsible for delivering and occasionally installing a range of customer items, from appliances to furniture, while providing a friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and maintain accountability for the vehicle and its contents.
• Deliver customer orders to the specified room, ensuring items and packaging remain undamaged.
• Assemble and install products such as fridges, TVs and furniture following provided training.
• Communicate clearly with customers throughout the delivery process and address any queries or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with a colleague to meet delivery targets and bonus thresholds.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
• Willingness to undergo a mandatory DBS criminal‑record check.

Required skills

• Valid licence to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Completed Driver CPC training.
• Possession of a digital tachograph card.
