7.5T Delivery Driver – Full‑time Permanent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to join our Cormar Carpets team in Sherburn, Leeds. The role is full‑time, permanent and involves delivering products to high‑street stores and warehouses across Yorkshire and Humberside.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 7.5‑tonne vehicle safely, complying with road traffic laws and company procedures.
• Deliver goods to stores and warehouses, ensuring accurate handling, secure transport and on‑time arrival.
• Load, unload and hand‑ball stock, performing physically demanding tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and record product returns accurately.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, maintain tachograph records and report any defects.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with a 7.5 t entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six current penalty points and no recent disqualifying endorsements.
• Strong time‑management, communication and customer‑service abilities.

Required skills

• Safe operation of Class 2 (7.5 t) vehicles.
• Proficiency with tachograph equipment and vehicle safety checks.
