7.5t Driver – Full‑time Logistics Role

About the role

Join DX Network Services as a 7.5t Driver, delivering parcels and freight on a multi‑drop route across the North East. You will ensure every shipment reaches its destination safely, on time, and with a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX professionally at all times.
• Drive vehicles safely and legally, complying with all company and statutory requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects immediately and complete required paperwork.
• Scan all products using DX scanning equipment and load deliveries securely before departure.
• Follow DX procedures and policies, manage routing to meet premium and timed delivery targets.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it is maintained.
• Report any delivery or on‑road issues to the traffic office promptly.
• Deliver goods in excellent condition and handle customer interactions politely and effectively.
• Carry out collections according to given instructions and schedules.

Required profile

• Valid C1 (or higher) licence with a DQC and Tacho card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points and no driving bans.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
