7.5T Driver – Morning Shift

About the role

Greencore is looking for a reliable 7.5T driver to join its Southampton depot on a morning shift. You will be part of a team delivering fresh and frozen convenience foods to retailers and forecourts across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Complete 10‑20 delivery drops per day on routes lasting 8‑12 hours.
• Work a Monday‑to‑Saturday pattern with a rolling rest day and mandatory Saturdays.
• Start at 4 am and adhere to the shift schedule, including night‑time premium pay for any hours worked between 10 pm and 6 am.
• Follow on‑the‑job training and partner with an experienced team member during the onboarding period.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure safe vehicle operation.

Required profile

• Excellent people skills – drivers interact with customers daily.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least six months, with no more than six penalty points.
• Minimum six months HGV experience operating a 7.5‑tonne vehicle or larger.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality and teamwork.
