About the role
We are seeking an experienced A Level Psychology teacher to join an independent school in Chester on a short‑term, part‑time basis. The position runs from the start of September 2026 until the October half‑term, covering a planned staff absence.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver KS5 Psychology lessons, with occasional KS4 sessions.
- Prepare and mark coursework and examinations.
- Provide dedicated PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching Psychology at A Level.
- Right to work in the UK (passport or birth certificate).
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one (cost reimbursed).
- Curriculum vitae covering at least ten years of education or employment history.
