ABS Financing & Securitisation Analyst – EMEA

About the role

Citi is seeking an experienced professional to join its International Residential Finance ABS Financing & Securitisation team within Spread Products. The role works across EMEA with financial institutions, fintechs, private‑equity firms, hedge funds, governments and corporates to originate, execute and close both public and private securitisations of financial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and execute securitisation and advisory transactions across multiple asset classes such as SME loans, consumer loans, auto loans and leases, credit cards and residential mortgages.
• Maintain and organise large data sets, model expected loss and asset values, and prepare client presentations.
• Collaborate with internal control functions (Legal, Compliance, Risk) to ensure proper governance.
• Negotiate tranche structures with rating agencies and work with lawyers to document transactions.
• Partner with internal Citi teams to develop new client relationships and expand securitisation into new asset classes and jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Significant experience in structured finance and securitisation.
• Knowledge of rating‑agency processes and certification regime requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Python (optional but preferred).
• VBA (optional but preferred).
