Academic Operations Administrator (Hybrid)

About the role

The Academic Operations Administrator will support the delivery of university programmes by coordinating lecturer resourcing, managing contracts and ensuring compliance with training requirements. Working across the Horizons campus and remotely, you will help maintain smooth academic operations for both staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and preparing semester‑wide lecturer resourcing for all programmes.
• Arrange, prepare and issue lecturer contracts in liaison with HR and Payroll.
• Notify relevant departments of lecturer allocations for each module.
• Support onboarding activities and monitor mandatory training compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of lecturer assignments and operational needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Ability to work across multiple teams with competing priorities.
• Strong initiative, resilience under pressure and adaptability to changing circumstances.
