Academic Support Assistant – Primary School (Warrington)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Academic Support Assistant to join primary schools across Warrington from September. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils build confidence in literacy, numeracy and overall classroom learning through targeted, small‑group interventions.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver small‑group intervention sessions focused on English and Maths.
- Provide additional support to pupils who need extra help.
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor and record pupil progress.
- Encourage confidence, independence and a love of learning.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Genuine passion for supporting pupils’ academic development.
