About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Academic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Lambeth. You will support teachers in delivering high‑quality lessons and help create an inclusive learning environment for secondary‑aged students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active learning.
• Use a variety of strategies and resources to inspire student participation.

Required profile

• 1st Class or 2:1 degree from a reputable university.
• Strong academic record and experience working with secondary‑aged students.
• Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
