About the role
We are looking for an Access Control Engineer to join a Southern‑based communications contractor on a short‑term assignment in Lewisham. The role starts as soon as possible and involves a two‑week intensive period of installing and testing Paxton intercoms and gate access control systems.
Key responsibilities
- Install Paxton intercom units and access control hardware at client sites.
- Test and commission gate control systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Coordinate with site teams to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and any adjustments made.
Required profile
- Valid CSCS/ECS or equivalent certification.
- Own essential tools for electrical and mechanical installation.
- Proven experience with Paxton access control systems.
- Ability to start immediately and work on a fast‑paced schedule.
