Accommodation Support Officer – Merseyside/Cheshire

About the role

We are looking for an Accommodation Support Officer to join Seetec’s Communities Division, supporting adult male participants housed in HMP Merseyside and Cheshire. You will work closely with probation practitioners to assess housing needs, develop personalised accommodation plans and guide participants through the process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants, creating tailored accommodation plans.
• Conduct initial assessments to identify housing needs and risk factors.
• Coordinate interventions with external agencies and probation teams.
• Inform participants of their rights, decisions affecting them and available support.
• Maintain accurate records and produce regular progress reports.
• Promote positive behaviour change and act as a role model for participants.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals in a custodial setting.
• Commitment to person‑centred service delivery.
• Willingness to undertake on‑site training and continuous development.

• Competitive salary £25,877‑£29,000 per year, dependent on experience.
