Accommodation Support Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a confident and experienced Accommodation Support Team Leader to oversee a team delivering high‑quality housing and resettlement services across custodial and community settings in Lancashire. You will provide day‑to‑day guidance, coaching and leadership while also managing a small caseload of complex participants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and inspire a team of Housing Support Officers across the region.
• Provide regular supervision, coaching, appraisals and development opportunities.
• Promote a high‑performance, learner‑focused culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Deliver workshops and internal guidance to raise practice standards.
• Manage a specialised caseload of complex or high‑risk participants, offering expert housing advice.
• Monitor team performance against contractual targets and KPIs.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, housing associations, local authorities, prison staff and probation services.
• Ensure all advice complies with current housing legislation and homelessness duties.
• Conduct quality audits on case notes, support plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate electronic data and manage risk and safeguarding processes.

Required profile

• Confident and experienced leader with a background in housing support.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and homelessness duties.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to drive quality, performance and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

What we offer

• Permanent, full‑time contract (37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday).
• Competitive salary range £26,150 – £32,668 per annum, dependent on experience.
