Account Development Executive – Mid‑Corporate Risks

About the role

As part of Stride Resource Management’s strategic growth plans, we are looking for an Account Development Executive to join our Mid‑Corporate Risks team. You will generate new leads, develop business opportunities and manage a portfolio of existing clients across sectors such as construction, leisure, professional services, care and retail.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve agreed brokerage/fee income targets.
• Maintain high levels of client retention and satisfaction.
• Develop and manage a prospect database.
• Deliver a high standard of client service and ensure compliance throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and engage directly with larger clients alongside the Affinity and Partnerships team.

Required profile

• Experience in Sales or Account Executive roles within the insurance sector.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience preparing market presentations and writing reports for new and existing clients.
• Confidence in telephone and face‑to‑face sales, strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and minimum DIP CII qualification (or working towards it).

Required skills

• Proficiency with insurance software.
• DIP CII qualification (or progress towards it).
