Account Director – Client Partnerships & Digital Strategy

About the role

We are seeking an Account Director to join a growing content agency in Bristol. You will act as a true extension of our clients’ teams, building strong partnerships and influencing digital and content strategy. This senior role offers the chance to make a genuine impact on both client outcomes and the direction of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with senior clients and act as a trusted partner across accounts.
• Lead the strategic direction of digital and content work, ensuring measurable results.
• Oversee projects from inception to delivery, maintaining quality and adherence to brief.
• Manage account budgets, track profitability, and take responsibility for commercial outcomes.
• Identify growth opportunities and lead the development of new business within existing accounts.
• Support and mentor junior team members within the account team.
• Help establish standards and processes for best practice across all accounts.

Required profile

• Proven agency experience in account management, preferably at Account Director level.
• Strong understanding of digital channels and content strategy across multiple platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a smaller business environment and drive initiatives forward.
• Experience managing budgets and delivering commercial results.
• Demonstrated capability to build and maintain senior client relationships.
