Account Director

About the role

We are looking for an experienced B2B marketer from an agency background to join a fast‑growing technology‑focused marketing agency as an Account Director. In this senior position you will own high‑profile client accounts, act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and drive strategic demand‑generation programmes that deliver measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison for senior client stakeholders, providing strategic direction and leadership throughout the account lifecycle.
• Take end‑to‑end responsibility for account planning, execution, performance monitoring and growth, ensuring profitability and high client retention.
• Maintain and optimise account budgets, forecasts and financial tracking to meet business objectives.
• Advise clients on best‑in‑class B2B demand‑generation tactics, industry trends and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop, launch and measure campaigns that exceed client expectations.
• Deliver clear, impactful presentations that showcase results, insights and recommendations.
• Leverage data and analytics to provide actionable insights and guide strategic decisions.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B agency marketing, preferably within the technology sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior client relationships and drive account growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience overseeing P&L responsibility.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across functions.
